Galvanised Coach Screws have a hex head making it ideal for fastening any material to timber when there is no access to the rear or where an ordinary screw won’t be strong enough. The threaded shank is inserted into a pre-drilled hole and then screwed in tapping its own thread. The galvanised coating also makes it suitable for use in most outdoor applications, providing additional corrosion protection, as well as for use in treated timbers.
