Our range of CD graded, non structural plywood possesses similar characteristics to CD structural plywood as it also contains a Radiata pine species, but it is not structurally rated. However, it can be used for many general purposes when stress grading is not required, including furniture, general building, DIY/handyman applications.
Contrary to popular belief, the glue used in Marine plywood is actually the same glue used in external and structural plywood, so if you’re looking to use plywood on your next project that may be subject to weather, we strongly recommend painting and / or sealing the edges to minimise moisture ingress and maximise the products’ longevity. This can be a great cost effective outcome than using say marine plywood.
The product can be painted or clear finished on both surfaces and provides an excellent base for paints, varnishes, and high gloss finishes.
