Pacific Jarrah is a completely suitable alternative for Australian Jarrah decking, which can be quite scarce due to the slow growth of the trees and the fact the timber can only be sourced from old growth forest and native forest regrowth in WA.
With natural similarities to Australian Jarrah, Pacific Jarrah is an in ground, durable and stable timber, with a natural white ant resistance, is resistant to fungal decay, wear and moisture absorption.
Pacific Jarrah is similar in colour to Merbau’s rich warm red tone, however it doesn’t bleed out or leave tannin stains like Merbau, making it ideal for exterior decking and landscaping applications.
