Protectex Willows Timber Preserver

Willows Timber Preserver from Protectex is an excellent, safe and environmentally friendly replacement for Creosote. Creosote is no longer sold in Australia due to its potentially harmful chemical composition.

A multigrade mineral based parafinic oil blend that provides advanced protection for timber below and above ground, Willows Timber Preserver is suitable for poles, logs, fences, posts, sleepers, treated pine and hardwood. Odour free and non-hazardous, Protectex Willows Timber Preserver is completely safe to use.

Depending on the thickness of coating applied the treated timber will remain moist and tacky for several weeks. As this is the case the oil is most suitable for underground protection. However Protectex Willows Timber Preserver works well above ground also.
